Yeah it was sometimes hard to sit through those. Maybe since faster technology is available to make cartoons that "filler" will be taken out. But it sounds like won't considering they are sticking to basics when it comes to the sketchiness of the drawings. I watched a few episodes on MTV this morning online that I hadn't seen previously. http://www.mtv.com/shows/beavis_and_but ... ries.jhtml One episode they were huffing paint thinner and another they put a poodle in a clothes dryer then got in it themselves. I'm sure they were banned from TV having seen most all of them on VCR in the past.

View the latest post Smart Fridge Is Your New Recipe Card
Posted by: SirReal » Tue Jul 13, 2010 1:58 pm Forum: CraZy StufF

The Smart Fridge here is for those who have shunted cooking to a hobby and rely more on designer microwave meals. The idea is to give you a fridge that is intelligent enough to come up with a healthy recipe, depending on what you stock in it. Not only that, it guides you with vocal instructions, spoon by spoon, till you dish out the perfect-wholesome meal. A touch interface door glams up the appliance, creating the desire to own a piece that’s futuristic but may not be what you’re looking for!

View the latest post Attachment(s) LanPartyPal Discussion
Posted by: SirReal » Fri Jul 09, 2010 12:02 pm Forum: General SICness

I'm looking for some input regarding a new website http://lanpartypal.com It is essentially a social networking site with event creation. The purpose is to increase support and garner more enthusiasm toward lan parties. Lately, as it seems, has been slow time for lans. I purchased lanpartypal.com almost 1 year ago. Having this idea I quickly went to the drawing board.

What you are seeing would be the home page. I've decided against having a forum there (note facebook's lack of a forum). Since I've had more time to maul over ideas, here are a few of my thoughts.

Should the homepage have a map? Since there is already an events tab would it be necessary? Seeing the map when you first come onto the site is a novel idea at first. But how many updates will be in your area in a given month? Having said that, would you rather see your friend updates or the "community tab" be the homepage or have community photos, leaderboards etc.

I am currently waiting on development of group event...

View the latest post Canadian breakthrough promises the ability to regrow teeth

A team of researchers from the Canadian University of Alberta researchers has created technology to regrow teeth - the first time scientists have been able to reform human dental tissue. Using low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS), scientists have created a miniaturized system-on-a-chip that offers a non-invasive and novel way to stimulate jaw growth and dental tissue healing. The researchers are currently working on turning their prototype into a market-ready model and expect the device to be ready for the public within next two years.

"It's very exciting because we have shown the results and actually have something you can touch and feel that will impact the health of people in Canada and throughout the world," said Dr. Jie Chen, who works out of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the National Institute for Nanotechnology.

Colorful hillside? Yes, but there much more when you look close

Just when you think you know what you’re looking at, things change when you zoom in.
